Magnetic Pull
A process that occurs naturally during the use of any scientifically-based meditation technique, during which neurological energy is withdrawn from the peripheral nervous system, concentrated in the spine, then channeled upward to the brain. The practical result of magnetic pull during meditation is that the meditator experiences a withdrawal of sensory awareness from the outside world (because there is less energy in the peripheral nervous system), is thereby able to limit sensory distractions to achieve a calm inward focus, and has more energy available to support mental and spiritual functions (which are locused in the brain).
